Use fileseek or similar program to search things by size e.g under 50kb or 100kb, and then copy all of those files to a new directory, view the thumbnail in windows explorer and then check manually for any broken files.

Text missing from pdf made using Adobe Illustrator
Make sure to remove overprint from your text.
Select the text and then use Attributes panel (show it in window menu)
Untick the overprint option.
If you don’t know what text is in overprint
Open the AI file in Acrobat Pro and turn on Output Preview.
There you can show overprints. Switch back to Illustrator and fix.

Go to safe mode
Uninstall any LAN and WLAN drivers from device manager
Reinstall them again using the drivers from website / CD

Corrupted user profile in Windows 7
First, do a chkdsk, if it’s still not working, then
- Go to safe mode
- Enable administrator using cmd : net user administrator /active:yes
- Login as administrator
- Create new account
- Login to the
- Disable administrator using cmd : net user administrator /active:yes
This usually happens because of antivirus that scans at boot-time e.g Avast.
Stuck at installing Windows 7
If it stucks at “expanding Windows files”, just give it some time, 30 mins max.
If it stucks at “windows is loading files(black screen)”, use DVD instead of USB for installing.
